Assignment and detailed instructions
- Read the privacy policy of the TikTok app: Privacy Policy.
- Find out at least three ways in which the TikTok app collects information about its users. Draw a mind map (see template)
Joint discussion after the task:
All software collects information about its users. How much information about a person is collected overall? Who can use the information? What are the advantages/disadvantages for the individual/society? What is the difference between European, American and Chinese companies collecting data?
Materials and equipment
Paper and pen. The mind map template can be printed out for the students in advance, or they can use it in digital form.
